Hello Everyone! Welcome to Sports Teller! Today, we will be going over the TD Ballpark (Blue Jays): Official Food Menu! Before we can explain which different concessions to look out for, we must go over the baseball team’s affiliation as well as their home ballpark. Without further adieu, let’s begin!

TD Ballpark (Blue Jays): Official Food Menu

The History of Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training in Dunedin

When the Spring Training Grapefruit League Season comes, the Toronto Blue Jays are ready to play ball! The Blue Jays have been training at TD Ballpark since 1990. Speaking of TD Ballpark, the venue is also the home of the Dunedin Blue Jays of the Florida State League-Single A (formerly Low-A). Most importantly, Toronto has been training in Dunedin since the franchise’s inception back tin 1977. The Dunedin home is a 15-20 minute drive from Baycare Ballpark, the Spring Training site for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Since the Blue Jays came to the stadium in 1990, the team won two World Series championships in 1992 and 1993. Since the year 2010, Toronto has been to the American League Championship Series in 2015 and 2016. In 2019, the ballpark underwent renovations that included the following: new team store, a 360 walkway around the park (boardwalk for the outfield concourse), and new main entrance. Since 2020, the team in blue played in three Wild Card series and Robbie Ray won the AL Cy Young in 2021.

Before its current name, the Spring Training venue was formerly known as the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. In 2021, the Dunedin ballpark hosted MLB regular season games for Toronto (April-May) due to the global pandemic. Even the Los Angeles Angels made an ultra-rare appearance at the TD Ballpark in April 2021. The Halos have never played in Dunedin since they are usually a Cactus League club in Arizona.
