Cincinnati was previously an ECHL farm team for the Nashville Predators from 2007 until 2017. The Cyclones are the two-time Kelley Cup champions (2008, 2010).

The Cyclones have been playing their home games at Heritage Bank Center since 1997. Speaking of Heritage Bank Center, the 14,000-capacity arena is located in Downtown Cincinnati.
