Who Are the Winston-Salem Dash? What League Do They Play in?

With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Winston-Salem Dash (based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) are ready to play ball! The Dash are a High-A Team affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. In addition, they play in the South Division for the High-A East League. The Dash have been a farm club for the White Sox since 1997. The Minor League Team was formerly known as the Winston-Salem Warthogs from 1995 until 2008.

Where do the Winston-Salem Dash Play their Home Games? Who is the Official Mascot?

The Dash have been playing their home games at Truist Stadium since 2010. Speaking of Truist Stadium, the 5,000-capacity ballpark is located Downtown Winston-Salem near the U.S. 158/U.S. 421 Highway. The venue was formerly known as BB&T Ballpark from 2010 until 2020. Truist Stadium is about a 1.5-hour drive from Charlotte (home of the NBA’s Hornets, NFL’s Panthers, AHL’s Checkers, and Triple A Baseball’s Knights). The team’s official mascot is Bolt the Red Monster (with lightning bolts as ears).
