With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the Wichita Thunder are ready to drop the puck! Wichita is an ECHL club of the Edmonton Oilers. In addition, they play in the Mountain Division for the Western Conference. Wichita has been a farm team for the Oilers since 2017. The franchise previously partnered with the Ottawa Senators (2016-2017). Since the 2014-2015 season, the Thunder club only reached the playoffs twice (2018, 2021).
