The stadium is about a 40-50 minute drive from Fresno (home of the Fresno Grizzlies of Minor League Baseball).
Valley Strong Ballpark, which actually opened during the 1940’s, is known for having a replica red barn located at the right field area. The venue was formerly known as Recreation Ballpark before changing to its current name in 2021. Valley Strong Ballpark is also notable for the huge cement/rock hill with graffiti art (located at the 3rd base side of the venue). The team’s official mascot is Tipper the Cow.
