Who Are the Tulsa Oilers? What League Do They Play in?

With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the Tulsa Oilers are ready to drop the puck! Tulsa is an ECHL club of the Anaheim Ducks. In addition, they play in the Mountain Division for the Western Conference. Tulsa has been a farm team for the Ducks since 2020. The franchise previously partnered with the Colorado Avalanche (2010-2011), Winnipeg Jets (2015-2016), and St. Louis Blues (2016-2020). Since the 2010-2011 season, the Tulsa club reached the playoff four times (including the 2019 Western Conference Finals).

Where do the Tulsa Oilers Play their Home Games? Who is the Main Mascot?

The Oilers have been playing home games at BOK Center since 2008. Speaking of BOK Center, the 17,000-capacity arena is located in Downtown Tulsa. The venue is also about a 5-minute drive from ONEOK Field (home of the Minor League Baseball’s Tulsa Drillers). BOK Center was also the home of the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock (2010-2015) before relocating to Texas to become the Dallas Wings. The stadium hosted the Men’s March Madness Tournament games during the 2010-2011 season. The team’s main mascot is Sledge the Oiler Man.
