In addition, they play in the Pacific Division for the Western Conference. Tucson has been a farm team for the Coyotes since 2015. The franchise was formerly known as the Springfield Falcons (Massachusetts: 1994-2016) until their relocation. The club also previously partnered with the Columbus Blue Jackets (2010-2015) and and Edmonton Oilers (2007-2010). Springfield eventually landed another AHL franchise called the Thunderbirds. Tucson has reached the Calder Cup playoffs once in 2018.
