Torey Krug, Former Bruins Star, Joins St. Louis Blues on a Free Agent Deal
On the first day of the 2020 NHL Free Agency Period, it appears that one lucky team will be getting a star defenseman. Pierre LeBrun (TSN NHL Insider) reported that former Boston Bruins star Torey Krug will sign with the St. Louis Blues. The deal will be for seven years and it is worth approximately $45.5 million. Krug decided to join the Blues after spending his entire career with the Bruins. With Torey Krug now joining the Blues, it now appears unlikely that Captain/Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo will return to St. Louis.
