Now that the 2021 NFL Season is coming soon, now is the time to start speculating in terms of which GMs are currently on the hot seat. Even though the opening kick-off for the regular season is a couple months from now, it’s never too early to evaluate each NFL General Manager’s situation during the 2021 season. First, let’s reveal which NFL GMs appeared to be safe from the hot seat:

Trent Baalke (Jaguars)

  • Jacksonville’s GM Since 2021
  • Hired Urban Meyer as Head Coach
  • Drafted QB Trevor Lawrence (Clemson) as #1 Overall Pick in the 2021 Draft

Andrew Berry (Browns)

  • Cleveland’s GM Since 2020
  • 1st Playoff Appearance Since 2002
  • First Postseason game Victory Since 1994

Joe Douglas (Jets)

  • New York’s GM Since 2019
  • Hired Robert Saleh as Head Coach
  • Drafted QB Zach Wilson (BYU) as #2 Overall Pick in 2021 Draft

Chris Grier (Dolphins)

  • Won 10 Games During 2020 Season

Now, let’s talk about the 2021 NFL general managers who could be let go by their respective teams. The rankings from 10-6 are the GMs that have a warm seat for 2021.
