With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Toledo Mud Hens are ready to play ball! The Mud Hens are a Triple-A Team affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. In addition, they play in the West Division for the International League as of 2024. For 2021, Toledo played in the Midwest division for the Triple-A East League. 2024 will be the club’s 38th year as an MiLB affiliation club for the Tigers dating back to 1987. The Mud Hens also had a farm club stint with Detroit from 1967 to 1973.

Where do the Toledo Mud Hens Play their Home Games? Who is the Official Mascot?

The Mud Hens have been playing their home games at Fifth Third Field since 2002 after spending the previous 36 years at Ned Skeldon Stadium. Speaking of Fifth Third Field, the 10,000-capacity ballpark is located not far from the Michigan-Ohio State Line. The team’s official mascot is Muddy the Bird.
