Who is Hosting the 2032 Summer Olympics?
According to the Associated Press, the IOC Committee has reportedly decided on the host city for the 2032 Summer Olympics. That lucky city and country will be Brisbane, Australia. The report also said that Brisbane would officially be selected as the host city right before the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics in July. Brisbane’s selection will be the 6th country from the Oceania/East Asia region to host the Olympics since 2000. The others are Sydney (2000), Beijing (2008, 2022), Pyeongchang (2018), and Tokyo (2020).
Has the Host City’s Country Hosted the Olympic Games Before?
The country from the Land Down Under will host the Olympic Games for only the third time in history. Australia previously hosted the international sporting events in 1956 in Melbourne and in 2000 in Sydney. Both of those games occurred in the Summer.
Where are the Future Olympic Games other than 2032?
