In addition, they play in the Central Division for the Western Conference. Texas has been an affiliate for the Dallas Stars since 2010. The franchise was previously known as the Iowa Stars/Chops (Des Moines: 2005-2009) until their relocation to the Lone Star State. The Stars won the 2014 Calder Cup championship along with the Finals appearances in 2010 and 2018. Meanwhile, the Austin Spurs are an NBA G-League affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs. In fact, they have been a farm club for the Spurs since 2007. The team was previously known as the Austin Toros from 2005 until 2014. The Austin club won two NBA D/G League titles in 2012 and 2018.
