The University of Texas at Austin Longhorns are one of the good programs in college baseball. In fact, the university has seen former players who would go on to succeed in Major League Baseball (MLB). Some of those athletes would go on to become MLB All-Stars as well as even playing in the World Series. Texas won the NCAA Baseball Tournament six times (two since 2000) and lost the College World Series in 2004 & 2009. Since 2000, the Longhorns won the Big 12 Tournament five times and they have been to the NCAA Baseball Tournament six times since 2010.
