With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Tennessee Smokies are ready to play ball! The Smokies are a Double-A South Team affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. In addition, they play in the North Division for the Double-A South League. The Smokies have been an affiliate for the Cubs since 2007.

The Smokies have been playing their home games at Smokies Stadium since 2000. Speaking of Smokies Stadium, the 6,000-capacity ballpark is located in Sevierville (near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge). The team’s official mascot is Homer the Hound.
