Stuffed Turkey Legs Among Texans 2024 New Foods

The brand new NFL season has finally arrived in H-Town, and the defending AFC South Division Champions have some exciting food additions Houston sports fans can look forward to. As the men in red and navy are seeking their first ever AFC Championship Game appearance, they will be developing some new menu selections for the general public and premium ticket holders. Based on the team’s offseason survey with fans in terms of what they want at the stands this year, the majority of them wanted Asian-inspired dishes. And the Texans responded with the new offerings like the Teriyaki Chicken Wonton Nachos, General Tso’s Waffle Fries, Beef Teriyaki Tacos, Chicken Egg Rolls, and more

NRG Stadium will also debut some of the new culinary experiences such as the Stuffed Turkey Legs, Buffalo Lemon Pepper Tossed Tenders, Strawberry Cheesecake Pretzels, and lots more to choose from. In addition, the locally-based Truth BBQ will replace Killen’s as the official barbeque provider for Houston football. Teriyaki Chicken Wonton Nachos

• Description: This meal will include Teriyaki-Glazed Chicken that works well with White Queso, Homemade Sauce, Ginger Dressing, and Sesame Coleslaw on a Bed of Fried Wontons. 
• Location: Sections 125, 123, 105, 103, and 510

Loaded General Tso’s Stak Fry

• Description: An elevated spin on Waffle Fries comes with General Tso’s Chicken, Special Sauce, and White Queso. 
• Location: Sections 532 and 506

Beef Teriyaki Tacos

• Description: The newest addition to the Houston Texans’ food lineup will showcase Teriyaki Beef with Ginger Dressing, Sesame Coleslaw, and Housemade Sauce in a Flour Tortilla.

Teriyaki Chicken Lettuce Cups

• Description: The men in red & navy plans to introduce Iceberg Lettuce Cups filled with Teriyaki Chicken, Boom Boom Sauce, and Carrots.

Chicken Egg Roll

• Description: A classic street food has Shredded Chicken and Veggies stuffed in a Fried Egg Wrapper and topped with Spicy Mustard Slaw.

Wagyu Birria Tacos

• Description: This Tex-Mex-Asian hybrid will feature Japanese Beef braised in Ancho & Guajillo Au Jus Broth and partnered with Lime, Cilantro, and Onion in a Flour Tortilla.

Viet-Hou Meatballs

• Description: A new offering with a personality represents Brisket-Infused Meatballs drenched in Sweet & Spicy Sauce.

Wagyu Chopped Cheesesteak

• Description: A Philadelphia staple with a twist will highlight Japanese Beef with Provolone Cheese, Tomato, and Lettuce on a Hoagie Bun.

Stuffed Turkey Leg

• Description: The flavors of the state fair are making its way to Southeast Texas this season courtesy of a Large Turkey Leg smothered in Original Sauce, stuffed with Dirty Rice, and topped with Creole Mashed Potatoes and Chopped Green Onions.

Truth BBQ Brisket Sandwich

• Description: The official new barbeque provider for the Houston Texans offers its signet Slow-Smoked Beef Brisket with Coleslaw and Original BBQ Sauce on a White Bun. 
• Location: Truth BBQ (Sections 129 and 109)

Buffalo Lemon Pepper Tossed Tenders

• Description: This dish consists of 3-4 Deep-Fried Chicken Fingers smothered in Buffalo Sauce, Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and Sidewinder Fries. 
• Location: Club Level (Sections 343, 333, 314, and 305)

Loaded Popcorn

• Description: Perhaps the most exciting snack option in the Lone Star State will resemble Freshly-Popped Popcorn with Fruit Cereal, Chocolate Candies, Fruit Candies, and Sweet Syrup.

Taco Salad Bowl

• Description: This new attraction has the components of a Crispy Flour Tortilla Bowl filled with a Choice of Chicken (Rojo of Picadillo), Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo Salsa, and Shredded Lettuce, all seasoned with Nacho Cheese Dustings.

Bang Bang Bites

• Description: Anyone with tickets to premium seats this season can rely on the Fried Boneless Chicken Pieces drenched in Bang Bang Sauce and Bagel Spices.

Watermelon and Feta Salad

• Description: A lighter version of football fare has Watermelon, Feta Cheese, Pickled Red Onion, Pomegranate Limeade, and Mint.

Strawberry Cheesecake Pretzel

• Description: The most talked-about sweet treat in H-Town is made with a House-Baked Pretzel layered with Graham Cracker Crumbles, Cream Cheese, Strawberry Candies, and Strawberry Syrup.
