With the Minor League Hockey/Basketball Seasons underway, the Stockton Heat and Stockton Kings are ready for action! Stockton is an AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames. In addition, they play in the Pacific Division for the Western Conference. Stockton has been an affiliate for the Flames since 2009. The franchise was previously known as the Adirondack Flames (New York: 2014-2015) and Abbotsford Heat (British Columbia: 2009-2014) until their relocation. The Heat only reached the Calder Cup Playoffs once in 2017. Meanwhile, the Stockton Kings are an NBA G-League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. In fact, they have been a farm club for Sacramento since 2016. The team was previously known as the Reno Bighorns from 2008 until 2018. The Stockton club made the playoffs once in 2019.

The Heat have been playing at Stockton Arena since the 2015, while the Kings have been playing there since 2018.
