In fact, the stadium is also about a 35-minute drive from Newark, NJ (home of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils). The baseball venue was formerly the home of the MiLB’s Staten Island Yankees from 2001 to 2020. The FerryHawks’ stadium was previously known as Richmond County Bank Ballpark prior to the 2022 season. During the Yankees’ run, the mascot used to be Scooter the Holy Cow. The new team’s official mascot is Superhero Hawk (name TBA).
