With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the South Carolina Stingrays are ready to drop the puck! South Carolina is an ECHL club of the Washington Capitals. In addition, they play in the South Division for the Eastern Conference. South Carolina has been a farm team for the Capitals since 2014. The franchise also partnered with Washington from 2004 until 2012. The team won three Kelly Cup championships (1997, 2001, 2009). Since 2015, the Stingrays have appeared in three Kelly Cup Finals (2015, 2017, 2021).

The Stingrays have been playing home games at North Charleston Coliseum since 1993.
