Speaking of Enmarket Arena, the 7,000-capacity arena is about a 2.5-hour drive from Jacksonville, FL (home of Minor League Hockey’s Icemen, NFL’s Jaguars & Triple-A Baseball’s Jumbo Shrimp). In fact, the stadium is also about a 2.0-hour drive from Charleston, SC (home of Minor League Baseball’s RiverDogs). The Ghost Pirates became the first new team to join the ECHL League since the Iowa Heartlanders in 2021. In fact, the arena is not far from the U.S. 25 Highway. The team’s official mascot is Davy the Ghost Pirate.
