They have been playing their home games at Grayson Stadium since 2016. Speaking of Grayson Stadium, the 4,000-capacity ballpark is about a 2.0-hour drive from Charleston, SC (home of the Charleston RiverDogs). In fact, the stadium is also about a 2.5-hour drive from Augusta, GA (home of the Augusta GreenJackets). The ballpark is named after the former Spanish-American War General William L. Grayson (who played a major role in the venue’s construction). Grayson Stadium served as the home of the Savannah Sand Gnats (Mets’ Class-A Team) from 1996 until 2015. The Sand Gnats relocated to SC to become the Columbia Fireflies. The team’s main mascot is Split the Banana.
