With the NFL Football season underway, the San Francisco 49ers are ready for kick-off! The 49ers have been playing home games at Levi’s Stadium since 2014. Speaking of Levi’s Stadium, the venue can hold nearly 70,000 football fans in capacity. The team’s venue is about a 15-20 minute drive from San Jose (home of the NHL’s Sharks, MLS’ Earthquakes, and Minor League Baseball’s SJ Giants). Levi’s Stadium hosted Super Bowl 50 in early 2016 (Broncos vs. Panthers) along with the 2019 National Championship Game (Clemson vs. Alabama). The venue also hosted the 2015 NHL Stadium Series (Sharks vs. Kings). The 49ers last played in the Super Bowl during the 1994 season (5th title since 1981). Recently, San Francisco played in the Super Bowl in early 2020 (lost to Kansas City Chiefs).
