In addition, they play in the Central Division for the Western Conference. Rockford has been a farm team for the Blackhawks since 2007. The franchise was formerly known as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks (Ohio: 1997-2005) until they relocated to Illinois. Cincinnati eventually landed an ECHL club called the Cyclones.
