You have officially arrived at JetBlue Park, which is the Spring Training home for the 2025 Boston Red Sox. The stadium is located at Fort Myers, Florida, a one-hour drive from North Port. The New England team has been training at JetBlue Park since 2012 after the team spent the previous 18 years at City of Palms Park in Ft. Myers. The Red Sox’ spring home is notable for having a replica of Fenway Park’s Green Monster at left field. Now that the 2025 Grapefruit League season is finally arriving, the Red Sox are looking to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2021. In fact, Boston is seeking its first World Series title since 2018. And most importantly, JetBlue Park has some exciting fan events in store to officially start off Spring Training in 2025.
Upcoming Boston Red Sox 2025 Grapefruit League Fan Experience:
Stadium Tours at JetBlue Park
Beginning on Monday, February 10, the Red Sox will provide behind-the-scenes ballpark tours for fans to enjoy. The pregame experience starts at Gate C behind home plate (left of the box office) just three hours before first pitch. Ticket holders will get to watch batting practice either on the back practice fields or the main stadium. Guests can also visit the left field Green Monster and other non-public areas like the press room and the field. For the pregame tours, adults would pay $40 per person and kids 12 and under are $15 per child. JetBlue Park also offers tours on non-game days, where adults can save money with $10 per person and children 12 and under are free.
New England Cuisine at Red Sox Spring Training
Baseball fans attending Red Sox games in Fort Myers can sample the flavors from Boston. For instance, the Taste of Fenway stand at 1st base sells Lobster Rolls for at least $20.00. In addition, that food station also provides the famous Fenway Frank Dog courtesy of Kayem®. For the upcoming spring season, a Naples-based food truck Maine Shack is making its return to JetBlue Park with Clam Chowders, Lobster Rolls, and Whoopie Pies. The Red Sox are not the only Grapefruit League team to cook up local cuisine this year. The Phillies are making cheesesteaks in Clearwater and the Tigers are cooking up Detroit-style pizzas in Lakeland.
Fan Giveaways at JetBlue Park in 2025
For select games throughout the spring season, the Red Sox will let fans take home special souvenirs via a themed event deal. This is where those who purchased a ticket package offer would receive admission to a home contest and a giveaway item. In terms of where to pick up any of the items, fans would receive an email from the team in advance of first pitch. The first stadium giveaway will take place on Wed. February 26 vs. Rays, where ticket package buyers would get a Red Sox Pickleball Paddle.
Next, JetBlue Park plans to host Margaritaville Day on Sat. March 1 vs. Twins. That afternoon affair includes a Tropics-Themed Spring Training T-Shirt (sizes S-XL). Then, the team will award the Boston Common Golf Hat to those who bought a themed deal on Sun. March 2 vs. Mets. The final giveaway at the ballpark happens on Wed. March 5 vs. Tampa Bay, where a special Class of 2025 Jersey (sizes S-XL) will be available. If fans can’t make it to that game, they will have another opportunity to get the graduation jersey on Fri. March 7 vs. Marlins. Since all those giveaway dates have a 1:05 P.M. start time, guests are encouraged to arrive at the gates 90 minutes early at approximately 11:35 A.M.
Exhibition Games at Red Sox Spring Camp
Aside from their grapefruit League opponents in Florida, the Red Sox will get to face-off against some of the unique baseball teams in the country. The club’s home opener at JetBlue Park is on Fri. February 21 (1:05 P.M.) vs. Northeastern Huskies. Speaking of Northeastern, it is a popular college baseball program that resides in Boston. Later, the Fri. March 14 contest will showcase the split squad roster taking on its Minor League prospects. The Futures at Fenway South might feature MiLB stars like INF/CF Kristian Campbell, SS Franklin Arias, RHP Luis Perales, and many more. Also to keep in mind is that the Savannah Bananas did perform at JetBlue Park for three days on February 14-16. All three of those games were sold out well in advance when the viral sensation announced their 2025 tour last fall.
Night Games at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers
Those who don’t want to deal with 75-80 degrees from the Florida sun might find some relief. For the 2025 season, the spring home of Red Sox baseball plans to host two games under the lights. All of those home contests would start at 6:05 P.M. EDT first pitch. Since gates open approximately 1.5 hours before the contests begin, fans are recommended to come to the venue at around 4:35 P.M. EDT. Here are the Red Sox Spring Training night games for 2025: Wednesday, March 12 vs. Minnesota Twins and Friday, March 21 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates.
Stadium Renovations & Additions for the 2025 Season
During the off-season, JetBlue Park received major additions before the Red Sox came down south for the spring. The stadium has a new video board located at right field above the bleacher seats. The home of Boston baseball also installed a revised video facade above the left field suite boxes. Fans with mobile tickets via the MLB Ballpark App can have an easier internet connectivity thanks to the venue’s dedicated Wi-Fi network. As for the new food offerings: there will be two debuting food trucks on Fenway South Drive: Chop It Up sandwiches and Nashbowls acai bowls.
