With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the Reading Royals are ready to drop the puck! Reading is an ECHL club of the Philadelphia Flyers. In addition, they play in the North Division for the Eastern Conference. Reading has been a farm team for the Flyers since 2014. The franchise previously partnered with the Washington Capitals (2012-2014). Since the 2003-2004 season, the Royals club has reached the playoffs 13 times (including their Kelly Cup championship in 2013).
