Welcome to the New York Mets 2026 promo season! The boys from the Queens are coming off their first back-to-back 80-win campaigns since 2015-2016. In fact, the Mets want to return to the NL Championship Series for the first time since losing to the Dodgers in 2024. Most importantly, the club is seeking its first World Series berth since losing to the Kansas City Royals in 2015. Now that Spring Training is finally here, the Mets have released the official promotion schedule for 2026. 

What’s New for the Mets This Upcoming Season

The Flushings organization will have a total of 16 fan giveaways and over a dozen theme nights at Citi Field. Perhaps the most exciting part about this season is the 40th anniversary of the Mets’ World Series title. New York will celebrate this milestone year with the 1986 Fall Classic Bobbleheads only available via special ticket package. Here are the player bobblehead dates: Gary Carter (April 9 vs. Dbacks), Jesse Orosco (April 24 vs. Rockies), Mookie Wilson (May 12 vs. Tigers), and Ray Knight (August 2 vs. Marlins). 

The franchise also plans to host a special 1986 World Series Reunion & Celebration on August 1 vs. Miami. Finally, the Mets will induct two new members into the Team Hall of Fame on May 30: INF/OF Lee Mazzilli (1976-1981, 1986-1989) and Manager Bobby Valentine (1996-2002). Recently, the club will retire Carlos Beltran’s #15 sometime this year as part of his induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Citi Field plans to start the 2026 promo slate in March with the Five-Borough Race Kids Puzzle and Magnet Schedule. The April dates will consist of bobblehead replicas of Juan Soto’s 40/30 Season and Mr. Met with Unisphere. For May, the team will give never-seen collectables such as the Bobby Valentine Disguise Kit and 1986 World Series T-Shirt. Next, the June freebies are the potential fan favorites ranging from the Marcus Semien Jersey Replica to Mrs. Met “Color-Your-Own” Bobblehead and Juan Soto “Baseball Card’ Figurine. 

The second half of the New York Mets’ 2026 campaign resumes before the All-Star Break courtesy of the 1986 WS 40th Anniversary Jersey Replica.
