Speaking of Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field), the venue can hold at least 65,000 football fans. The teams’ venue is located just a couple blocks from PNC Park (home of the MLB’s Pittsburgh Pirates). Acrisure Stadium is also about a 5-10 minute drive from the University of Pittsburgh campus. The Steelers last won the Super Bowl during the 2008 season, while the Panthers won the National Championship in 1976. Heinz Field hosted the 2011 NHL Winter Classic (Penguins vs. Capitals) and the 2017 NHL Stadium Series (Penguins vs. Flyers).
