Who Are the Ottawa Titans? What League Do They Play in?

With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Ottawa Titans (based in Ottawa, ON) are ready to play ball! The Titans are an Independent Baseball Team for the Frontier League (partnered with the MLB). In addition, Ottawa plays in the East Division. The Titans have no prior affiliation with the Minor Leagues. The Ottawa franchise, who will debut in 2022, will be become the third Frontier League club that is based in Canada: Trois-Rivieres Aigles and Quebec Capitales.

Where do the Ottawa Titans Play their Home Games? Who is the Official Mascot?

The Titans have been playing their home games at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park (or RCGT Park) since 2022. Speaking of RCGT Park, the 10,000-capacity ballpark is about a 20-25 minute drive from Canadian Tire Centre (home of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators). In fact, the stadium is also about a 12-15 minute drive from TD Place Stadium (home of the CFL’s Ottawa Redblacks). The venue was formerly known as Ottawa Baseball Stadium from 2008 until 2015. RCGT Park was also previously the home of Minor League Baseball’s Ottawa Lynx from 1993 until 2007. The team’s main mascot is Cappy the Red Monster.
