When the College Basketball Season around the corner, the Oregon Ducks are ready for tip-off! The men in green and yellow have been playing at Matthew Knight Arena since 2011. Speaking of Matthew Knight Arena, the venue can hold at least 12,000 fans in capacity. The Ducks basketball venue is about a 1.5-hour drive from Portland (home of the NBA’s Trail Blazers). Matthew Knight Arena is also located on the University of Oregon campus. The Ducks basketball stadium was named after sportswear businessman and Oregon Graduate Phil Knight (whose son, Matthew, passed away in a scuba diving accident). The men in green and yellow last won a National Title in 1939. Also, the Ducks reached the men’s Final Four in 2017. Meanwhile, the women’s squad played in the Final Four in 2019.
