The History of Minnesota Twins Baseball at Target Field
With the Major League Baseball (MLB) Season underway, the Minnesota Twins are ready to play ball! The Twins have been playing at Target Field since 2010. Speaking of Target Field, the venue hosted the 2014 MLB All-Star Game as well as the 2022 NHL Winter Classic (Minnesota Wild vs. St. Louis Blues). The ballpark is located next to the Target Center (home of the NBA’s Timberwolves and WNBA’s Lynx). Target Field is also about a 15-20 minute drive from St. Paul (home of the NHL’s Wild and Triple-A Baseball’s Saints). Since the Twins moved to their current home in 2010, the team reached the playoffs four times: 2010, 2017, 2019, 2020. Minnesota also won three AL Central Division titles since the ballpark’s opening.
