With the College Football Season around the corner, the Memphis Tigers are ready for kick-off! The men in Blue and Gray have been playing at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium since the mid-1960’s. Speaking of Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, the venue can hold at least 55,000 fans in attendance. Memphis’ football venue is about a 15-20 minute drive from Downtown Memphis (home of the NBA’s Grizzlies and Triple-A Baseball’s Redbirds). Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium is also located just a couple miles from the University of Memphis campus. The school’s football stadium is the site of the annual Liberty Bowl that takes place every winter season.

Since its opening, the Tigers football venue has witnessed some of the greatest college football players and coaches in history. Those players are the following: Mike Norvell (head coach), RB DeAngelo Williams, K Stephen Gostkowski, QB Paxton Lynch, Ryan Silverfield (head coach), WR Isaac Bruce, and many more! The men in Blue and Gray last won an AAC Conference Championship in 2019. Recently, the Tigers won the 2020 Montgomery Bowl vs. Florida Atlantic.
