With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Louisville Bats are ready to play ball! The Bats are a Triple-A Team affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. In addition, they play in the West Division for the International League as of 2025. During the return from the pandemic, Louisville temporarily played in the Midwest division for the Triple-A East League. This year will be the club’s 25th anniversary as an MiLB affiliation club for the Reds dating back to 2000.

The Bats have been playing their home games at Louisville Slugger Field since 2000 after spending the previous 17 years at Old Cardinal Stadium. Speaking of Louisville Slugger Field, the 13,000-capacity ballpark is located just a few minutes away from the city’s famous Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. The team’s official mascot is Buddy the Bat.
