Wizards Theme Nights 2025-2026 Include John Wall’s Celebration, Keyshawn George Bobblehead, Home Opener Giveaway & More! 

Welcome to the Washington Wizards 2025-2026 promo nights reveal! The organization is looking to snap its 5-year playoff drought dating back to 2021. Also, the franchise wants to advance past the first round for the first time since 2017. With less than a month before tip-off on opening night, the Washington Wizards officially announced their promotional schedule for the 2025-2026 season. 

Capital One Arena is going to have 11 fan giveaways and over 35 theme nights throughout the upcoming year. The stadium freebies will be available for the early-arriving ticket holders such as the Home Opener Rally Towel (Oct. 26), Pajama Pants Designed by Bub Carrington (Nov. 25), Wizards Charms Hat (Dec. 6), Kyshawn George Bobblehead (Jan. 2), SpongeBob™ WSH Hat (Jan. 4), Crewneck Sweatshirt (Jan. 27), AJ Johnson Hat (Feb. 3), Throwback Gold Jersey Replica (Mar. 5), G-Wiz Mascot Plush Toy (Apr. 1), and City Edition T-Shirt (Apr. 10). The franchise also plans to celebrate John Wall’s retirement with more details to be announced on a later date. 

As for theme nights, the stadium will highlight fan-favorite events such as Healthcare Heroes (Dec. 4), Kids in Charge (Dec. 6), Holidays (Dec. 21), First Responders (Dec. 28), Basketball Day (Jan. 9), MLK Jr. Tribute (Jan. 19), Salute to Service (Jan. 22), Winter Games (Feb. 1), Lunar New Year (Feb. 19), Sneakers Event (Feb. 20), Hoops and Hounds (Feb. 22), HBCU Sensation (Feb. 28), St. Patrick’s Party (Mar. 17), Pride Celebration (Mar. 19), Cherry Blossom (Mar. 21), Noche Wizards (Apr. 9), and Fan Appreciation (Apr. 10). There will also be fan packages connected to these themes like the Rainbow Fan & Sunglasses and Heroes Tumbler Cup. 

The NBA club will also recognize the season-long Heritage Series focusing on Muslim Family (Nov. 16), Greece (Dec. 1), Latvia (Dec. 6), France (Dec. 21), Philippines (Dec. 29), Canada (Jan. 2), Italy & Germany (Jan. 6), Croatia (Jan. 19), Serbia (Jan. 22), Jewish Culture (Jan. 27), Slovenia (Jan. 30), Lithuania (Feb. 1), Taiwan (Feb. 20), Switzerland (Mar. 5), Japan (Mar. 21), Australia (Apr. 7), and Latin Nations (Apr. 9). All these global events come with a ticket package that includes the Wizards Hawaiian Shirt.

• This in-season event is returning for the 3rd year with the Wizards competing for the NBA Cup.
