Capitals Promo Nights 2025-2026 Include Dylan Strome Bobblehead, Cherry Blossom Night, 80s Throwback Day, Hispanic Heritage & More! 

Welcome to the Washington Capitals 2025-2026 theme nights reveal! The NHL franchise is coming off its first playoff series victory since winning the Stanley Cup in 2018. Most importantly, the Capitals received national attention because of Alex Ovechkin breaking Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goal scoring record at 895. With about 1.5 months before the puck drops on opening night, the Washington Capitals officially released their promotional schedule for the 2025-2026 season. 

Capital One Arena will give out 13 fan giveaways and 18 theme night packages throughout the upcoming year. Those stadium giveaways will feature a 2025-2026 Schedule Magnet (Oct. 8), Goalies Reversible Oven Mitt (Nov. 26), Alex Ovechkin Floss Holder (Jan. 5), Dylan Strome Bobblehead (Jan. 13), Pierre-Luc Dubois Hat (Feb. 2), and many more. Those wanting more “Ovi” items can purchase them via ticket packages such as the Ovechkin Tropical Mug on Margaritaville™ Luau (Jan. 31) and Ovi-Wan-Kenobi Bobblehead on Star Wars™ Mania (Feb. 5). 

For additional theme nights, the organization will focus on Hispanic Heritage (Oct. 14), Oktoberfest (Oct. 25), 80s Throwback (Nov. 19), Hockey Fights Cancer (Nov. 22), Grateful Dead Tribute (Dec. 11), Country Music Takeover (Jan. 7), Pride Celebration (Jan. 17), Salute to Service (Mar. 3), Cherry Blossom Sensation (Mar. 18), and much more.
