Chris Johnson Ring of Honor Ceremony, Final Nissan Stadium Game & New Rivalries Uniforms Part of Tennessee Titans Game Themes 2026!
Welcome to the Titans’ official 2026 promotional schedule reveal! The NFL club is coming off its first back-to-back 13-loss seasons since 2014-2015. In addition, Tennessee wants to return to the playoffs for the first time since winning the AFC South Division in 2021. Most importantly, the franchise is looking for its first postseason victory since 2019. But before those playoff talks begin, the Tennessee Titans have officially announced its 2026 game themes schedule that focuses on fan favorite events and in-game entertainment.
New themes this season include Nissan Stadium’s Farewell Tour, Chris Johnson’s Ring of Honor, and Updated Rivalries Uniforms. The Tennessee Titans will begin the 2026 season in August with two preseason matchups on Aug. 23 (vs. Seahawks) and Aug. 29 (vs. Bears). The Nashville-based team will then open the regular season home dates in September with the Home Opener (Sept. 13), Chris Johnson’s Ring of Honor Induction (Sept. 13), and Hispanic Heritage (Sept. 20). Next, the October themes are going to cover Crucial Catch for Cancer Awareness (Oct. 11) and Salute to Service (Oct. 25).
For November, the only home contest for the month will allow players to wear their brand new Rivalries uniforms (Nov. 15). December will be a busy month for the Titans as they highlight Cleats for Charity (Dec. 6), Inspire Change for Social Equality (Dec. 6), and Holidays Celebration (Dec. 20). Last but not least, the Nashville-based program will try to end its run at Nissan Stadium on a high note with Fan Appreciation Day (Jan. 3). Tennessee is currently building a new domed stadium that is slated for completion in 2027. Also, the new home will host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030, which is the first time the big game will take place in the state.

Tennessee Titans Promotional Schedule 2026 by Month
August 2026
Preseason #1
- The boys from the Music City will face-off against the defending Super Bowl champions.
- Date: Sunday, August 23
- Kick-Off: 7:00 P.M. Central Time

Preseason #2
- The Titans are going to have a preseason finale showdown vs. the reigning NFC North Division winners.
- Date: Saturday, August 29

September 2026
Home Opener & Ring of Honor
- Nissan Stadium will host its final season kickoff before the new home venue opens in time for the 2027 NFL campaign. There will also be a special pregame ceremony for the 2026 Tennessee Titans coaches and players.
- During halftime, the Titans plan to induct 3-Time Pro-Bowling RB Chris Johnson (2008-2013) into the team’s Ring of Honor.

Hispanic Heritage Day
- The organization will provide Latin food offerings in concession stands and play live music on game day.

- Nissan Stadium will spend the afternoon showcasing the importance of getting scanned for cancer early.

- The NFL club wants to recognize the bravery and sacrifice from the local veterans and soldiers from Nashville.

November 2026
Rivalries Debut
- For the first time this season, Tennessee is going to start wearing the updated Rivalries uniforms.

- The Titans players will don their exclusive cleats that represent their go-t0 charities.

Inspire Change & Home for the Holidays
- Per the league’s community-based objective, all 30 franchises will get the chance to spread awareness for social equality.
- Also, Nashville will live up to the “Music City” name by playing Christmas music and even an appearance from Santa Claus.

January 2027
Fan Appreciation
- All Titans fans will be treated to Nissan Stadium’s final regular season home game before its scheduled demolition in 2027.
