Super Bowl Banner Raising Ceremony, Royal Blue Throwbacks & New Rivalries Uniforms Part of the Seattle Seahawks Game Themes 2026!
Welcome to the Seahawks’ official 2026 promotional schedule reveal! The defending Super Bowl champions have now won two NFL titles in franchise history. In fact, Seattle is seeking to become the second team over the past decade to win back-to-back Super Bowls along with the Kansas City Chiefs (2022 & 2023). But before those repeat talks begin, Seattle has officially announced its 2026 game themes schedule that focuses on fan favorite events and in-game entertainment. New themes this season include the Super Bowl Banner Ceremony, Rivalries Jerseys Debut, and Christmas Game at Home.
Lumen Field will begin the 2026 promotional dates in August with Kids in Charge and Play Football for Youth Sports (Aug. 15). The Seahawks will open the 2026 NFL season on September 9, where the defending champions get to raise their second Super Bowl banner. Next, the Pacific Northwest club will have a very busy month of October based on a few events: Hispanic Heritage (Oct. 4), Legends Weekend (Oct. 4), Crucial Catch for Cancer Awareness (Oct. 11), and 90s Royal Blue Throwbacks (Oct. 25).
For November, the Seahawks get to host the Monday Night Football showdown for the second straight year (Nov. 2), as well as Salute to Service (Nov. 8). Finally, Seattle plans to finish the regular season home slate in December with five special themes: My Cause, My Cleats (Dec. 7), Throwbacks Sequel (Dec. 7), Inspire Change (Dec. 13), Christmas Spectacular (Dec. 25), Rivalries Debut (Dec. 25), and 12’s Appreciation (Dec. 25). The Seahawks were coming off their 50th season celebration the previous year that included their Super Bowl run.

August 2026
Play Football & Kids Night
- The only preseason home game will recognize the impact of youth sports in the football industry.
- In addition, the home of the Seahawks will provide Junior Dancers performances, gaming zones, and inflatables.

September 2026
Home Opener & Super Bowl Banner Ceremony
- Lumen Field is going to introduce the official Seattle Seahawks players and coaches as part of the pregame ceremony.

Hispanic Heritage & Legends Weekend
- The stadium wants to feature Latin food offerings and live music on game day.

Crucial Catch Matinee
- Courtesy of the NFL’s initiative, Seattle will spend the day spreading awareness on cancer battles and early screenings.

Throwback Showdown
- The players are going to wear their 1990s Royal Blue uniforms as they face-off in a battle of recent Super Bowl winners.

- The players will don their special cleats honoring their choice of charities.

Inspire Change
- Per the NFL’s mission, all 30 teams will get to help out with underserved communities.

Rivalries Debut & 12’s Appreciation
- For the very first time, the defending Super Bowl champions will get to play in front of the 12’s on Christmas Day. They will celebrate by wearing their brand new Rivalries uniforms.
