Welcome to the Seattle Kraken 2026-2027 theme nights reveal! The boys from the Pacific Northwest are celebrating their fifth anniversary of joining the NHL, which took place in 2021. In fact, Seattle wants to return to the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since knocking off the defending champion Avalanche in 2022-2023. With a month and a half before the puck drops on opening night, the Seattle Kraken officially announced their promotional schedule for the 2026-2027 season. 

Climate Pledge Arena plans to include 33 theme nights and the 7-part local artist jerseys series throughout the upcoming year. The Kraken will start the promotional slate in October with the Home Opener (Oct. 4), Newcomer Day (Oct. 6), Washington Huskies (Oct. 20), Hispanic Heritage Local Artist (Oct. 22), and Washington State Cougars (Oct. 28). For November, the stadium is going to host the following events: Military Appreciation (Nov. 7), Cowboy Hat on Country Night (Nov. 19), Hockey Fights Cancer (Nov. 23), and Pre Thanksgiving (Nov. 25). Next, December will be packed with theme nights ranging from the First Responders Event (Dec. 3) to the Indigenous People Local Artist (Dec. 10) and Salmon Keychain Blind Box (Dec. 22). 

The second half of the promotional schedule will resume in January with a Kraken Flannel Shirt (Jan. 3), AANHPI Local Artist (Jan. 12), Healthcare Appreciation (Jan. 16), Oregon Ducks on MLK Day (Jan. 18), and Gonzaga Bulldogs (Jan. 31). For February, the team is going to highlight the Pride Local Artist (Feb. 3), Teachers Appreciation (Feb. 13), Kids in Charge (Feb. 15), and Black History Local Artist (Feb. 22). In March, Seattle will take part in the Women in Sports Local Artist Event (Mar. 11) along with Mascot Madness with Buoy (Mar. 13) and Go Green Local Artist (Mar. 30). Last but not least, the Kraken will finish the regular season in April with the Fan Appreciation Celebration (Apr. 3).

October 2026

Home Opener

• Before the game, the Climate Pledge Arena will introduce the Seattle Kraken players and coaches.

Newcomer Night/Item Package

• This theme is dedicated to the new Kraken hockey fans. 
• Those who bought a ticket deal will receive the Kraken Black Cap.

Washington Huskies Day/Item Package

• For one night only, the NHL stadium plans to recognize the students and alumni from University of Washington. 
• Anyone who purchased a ticket package will get the Kraken & Huskies Bomber Jacket. 
• Date: Tuesday, October 20
• Puck-Drop: 6:40 P.M. Pacific Time

Hispanic Heritage/Local Artist Package

• The evening will be filled with Latin music and special food offerings in the concession stands. 
• Those who bought a ticket deal will receive the Kraken “Hispanic Heritage Artist” Tumbler Cup. The item is designed by Andrew Gomez IV, who incorporated the skulls and flowers on the team logo. 
• Since the players can’t wear the Latin-inspired jerseys due to the league’s uniform policies, they can still autograph them and put them up for auction. Proceeds will go towards One Roof Foundation (youth access to life) and other local charities. 
• Date: Thursday, October 22

Washington State Cougars Event/Item Package

• Not long after the Huskies, the other university will make a visit to Climate Pledge Arena.

November 2026

Military Appreciation/Item Package

• The organization wants to give thanks to the local veterans and soldiers from the Pacific Northwest. 
• Those who bought a ticket deal will receive the Seattle Kraken Camo Tumbler.

Country Music Party/Item Package

• The stadium will feature country music and other themed entertainment on game day. 
• Anyone who purchased a ticket package will get the Kraken Cowboy Hat.

Hockey Fights Cancer/Item Package

• The players are going to wear pregame purple jerseys as part of cancer awareness.

North Cascades Day/Item Package

• This special theme honors the great outdoors from the State of Washington, ranging from Mount Rainier to the Pacific Ocean.

Indigenous People Heritage/Local Artist Package

• The main concourse will consist of Native American exhibits and other activities. 
• Those who bought a ticket deal will receive the Kraken “Indigenous People Artist” Tumbler. The item is designed by Joe Seymour, who infused the old-style tattoo imagery into the team logo.
