Keena Turner’s HOF Induction, Roger Craig’s Pro Football HOF & Black Rivalries Uniforms Part of San Francisco 49ers Game Themes 2026!
Welcome to the 49ers’ official 2026 promotional schedule reveal! The team is coming off its return to the playoffs after failing to qualify the previous year. In fact, San Francisco wants to win its first Super Bowl championship since defeating San Diego in 1994. But before those postseason talks begin, San Francisco has officially announced its 2026 game themes schedule that focuses on fan favorite events and in-game entertainment. New themes this season include the brand new Black Rivalries Uniforms, Roger Craig’s Pro Football HOF Celebration, and Keena Turner’s Team HOF Ceremony.
Levi’s Stadium will begin the 2026 promotional dates in August with Football for All via Inclusivity (Aug. 13). Following their season debut in Australia, the 49ers will open the regular season home dates in September with the Home Opener (Sept. 20) and Latino Heritage Day (Sept. 27). Next, San Francisco’s October themes will consist of Crucial Catch (Oct. 4), Roger Craig’s Pro Football Hall of Fame Recognition (Oct. 4), Alumni Weekend (Oct. 19), and Keena Turner’s Team HOF Induction (Oct. 19).
For November, the 49ers plan to showcase the following three events: Salute to Service (Nov. 8), Sunday Night Football (Nov. 22), and My Cause, My Cleats (Nov. 29). The reigning playoff contender only has one game at Levi’s Stadium in December with Home for the Holidays and the Black Rivalries Uniform Debut (Dec. 13). Last but not least, San Francisco will wrap up the regular season home slate in January with Inspire Change and Fan Appreciation Day (Jan. 3).

August 2026
Football for All
- The only preseason home game honors the inclusivity of football fans not only in San Francisco, but also in the United States.
- Date: Thursday, August 13
- Kick-Off: 6:00 P.M. Pacific Time

September 2026
Home Opener in Santa Clara
- Levi’s Stadium plans to host a special pregame ceremony introducing the 49ers coaches and players.

Latino Heritage Day
- The home for the 49ers will provide Latin music performances and food offerings on game day.

October 2026
Roger Craig Pro Football HOF & Crucial Catch
- The team will celebrate the 3-time Super Bowl champion RB Roger Craig (1983-1990) for his enshrinement to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year.
- Also, the 49ers are going to spend the afternoon promoting early cancer screenings and survivor success stories.

49ers HOF Induction & Alumni Weekend
- This Monday Night Football showdown will welcome 49ers legends of the past such as QB Joe Montana and WR Jerry Rice.
- In fact, San Francisco will induct 4-time Super Bowl winning LB (1980-1990) & current VP Keena Turner into the team’s Hall of Fame during halftime.
- Date: Monday, October 19

November 2026
Salute to Service
- As the NFL’s way of thanking those for their service, all 32 franchises will pay tribute to the local veterans and soldiers in their communities.

Sunday Night Football
- Levi’s Stadium plans to host the first of the two Sunday games under the lights in 2026.

- The 49ers players will wear their special cleats that represent their non-profit organizations.

Inspire Change & Fan Appreciation
- The second of the Sunday Night Football slate features the NFL’s mission of giving back and helping out in underserved communities.
