List of Ottawa Senators 2024-2025 Promo Nights

Are you Going to a Senators Hockey Game This Season? Looking for a Themed Event to Attend or a Giveaway to Take Home?

Now that the upcoming NHL season has finally arrived, you might think, “Will the Senators do stadium giveaways and promotional nights this season?” Well, you’re in luck! For the upcoming 2024-2025 campaign, the Ottawa Senators will return to the ice with theme days and fun promos for all ticket holders. In addition, the men in red have theme nights and fan giveaways in store this fall: Two Bobbleheads (Chabot & Anderson), Après Ski Night, Country Music Day, Oktoberfest Stein, and many more. 

Make sure to buy tickets at Canadian Tire Centre before it’s too late! Some of the team’s biggest contests, like the Maple Leafs and Jets, sell out very fast. Catch the Senators as they try to make the postseason for the first time since 2017. October 2024

Opening Night in Ontario

• First game of the season at Canadian Tire Centre. 
• There will be a special pre-game ceremony introducing the players and coaches. 
• Date: Thursday, October 10, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Florida Panthers (Defending Stanley Cup Champions)

Sensgiving Gravy Boat Giveaway

• The first 7,000 fans entering the gates will receive a Senators Gravy Boat. 
• Date: Monday, October 14, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Los Angeles Kings (Lost Quarterfinals vs. Edmonton)

Throwback Tribute #1

• The team will wear vintage uniforms on select days throughout the season. 
• Date: Thursday, October 17, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: New Jersey Devils (Hired Sheldon Keefe as Head Coach)

Mascot’s Birthday Bash

• Sparky the Lion will be having a blast with his mascot friends. 
• Date: Saturday, October 19, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Tampa Bay Lightning (Signed Jake Guentzel in the Off-Season)

November 2024

Oktoberfest/Sens Stein for Fans

• The plaza will be filled with pre-game German music and dances. 
• The Senators Oktoberfest Stein is available for the first 7,000 ticket holders. 
• Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Seattle Kraken (Joined NHL in 2021)

Throwback Night #2

• The men in red will wear vintage jerseys on select home games. 
• Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024

Indigenous Culture Celebration

• The stadium will showcase the cultures and traditions from the Indigenous citizens. 
• Date: Thursday, November 14, 2024

• Opponent: Philadelphia Flyers (Seeking 1st Playoff Berth Since 2020)

Hockey Fights Cancer Day

• The players plan to sport their purple uniforms during pre-game warm-ups to spread awareness for fighting cancer. 
• Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Edmonton Oilers (Defending Western Conference Champions)

Throwback Game #3

• The boys from Ottawa intend to wear vintage jerseys on select contests throughout the home schedule. 
• Date: Thursday, November 21, 2024

• Opponent: Vegas Golden Knights (Won 2023 Stanley Cup)

Thomas Chabot Bobblehead Giveaway

• The first 10,000 fans in attendance will get a Thomas Chabot Bobblehead.

Country Night/Cowboy Hat for Fans

• The evening will pay homage to some of Canada’s greatest country stars like Terri Clark, Shania Twain, and many more. 
• The Sens Cowboy Hat will be given to the first 10,000 ticket holders upon entry. 
• Date: Thursday, December 5, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Detroit Red Wings (2nd Longest Active Playoff Drought-2016)

First Responders Event

• The venue will acknowledge local firefighters and police officers from Ottawa. 
• Date: Wednesday, December 11, 2024

• Opponent: Anaheim Ducks (Looking for 1st Postseason Since 2018)

Holiday Extravaganza

• Canadian Tire Centre plans to feature timeless Christmas tunes and even a visit from Santa Claus.

Mental Health Awareness

• As part of the league’s initiative (Hockey Talks), all 32 teams will focus on the importance of mental health in the hockey community.

Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation

• The men in red will honor local veterans and soldiers from Ontario.

February 2025

Star Wars™ Takeover/Sword Giveaway

• The main concourse will consist of space adventure music and character appearances. 
• The first 10,000 fans at the game will earn a Light Up Sword.

Black History Celebration

• The franchise will recognize the historic achievements from African American players and coaches in professional Hockey.

Jake Sanderson Bobblehead

• The first 10,000 ticket holders will gain access to the Jake Sanderson Bobblehead.

Kids in Charge/Backpack Giveaway

• The stadium will provide children some fun and games during the afternoon. 
• The Senators Backpack is for the first 5,000 kids entering the gates.

International Women’s Event

• The Senators plan to celebrate the famous women who made an impact in our country.
