List of Orlando Magic 2024-2025 Promo Nights

Are you Going to a Magic Basketball Game This Season? Looking for a Themed Event to Attend or a Giveaway to Take Home?

Now that the upcoming NBA season has finally arrived, you might think, “Will the Magic do fan giveaways and promotional nights this season?” Well, you’re in luck! For the upcoming 2024-2025 campaign, the Orlando Magic will return to the ice with theme days and fun promos for all ticket holders. In addition, the men in blue have theme nights and stadium giveaways in store this fall: Noche Latina, NBA Cup Tournament, India Culture Night, Brazil Traditions Day, and many more. 

Make sure to buy tickets at Kia Center before it’s too late! Some of the team’s biggest contests, like the Heat and Celtics, sell out very fast. Catch the Magic as they try to win a playoff series for the first time since 2010. October 2024

Opening Night in Central Florida

• First game of the season at Kia Center. 
• There will be a special pre-game ceremony introducing the players and coaches. 
• Date: Friday, October 25, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Brooklyn Nets (Lost 1st Round vs. Philadelphia)

Diwali & Civic Engagement Night

• The evening will focus on the festivities of Diwali, which is a spirit-themed Hindu holiday that takes place every fall. 
• All fans are encouraged to vote during this upcoming election campaign. 
• Date: Monday, October 28, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Indiana Pacers (Lost East Finals vs. Boston)

November 2024

Seats for Soldiers Day

• The stadium will honor local veterans and active men & women on duty from the Orlando area. 
• Date: Sunday, November 10, 2024
• Tip-Off: 6:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Washington Wizards (Southeast Division Battle)

NBA Cup Tournament-Part 1

• The Magic will take part in the in-season tournament, which debuted last season. 
• Date: Tuesday, November 12, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Charlotte Hornets (Longest Active Playoff Drought-2016)

Mental Wellness Event

• The franchise will focus on the importance of mental health awareness in the basketball industry. 
• Date: Wednesday, November 13, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Indiana Pacers (Reached 1st East Finals Since 2014)

NBA Cup Tournament-Part 2

• The men in blue will have a chance to compete for the NBA cup championship. 
• Date: Friday, November 15, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Philadelphia 76ers (Lost Quarterfinals vs. Knicks)

Kids Takeover Game

• The main concourse will consist of children-filled activities and even an appearance from Stuff the Dragon. 
• Date: Saturday, November 23, 2024

• Opponent: Detroit Pistons (Hasn’t Won Playoff Series Since 2008)

Thanksgiving Eve in Orlando

• Kia Center will host a home contest the day before Turkey Day arrives.  
• Date: Wednesday, November 27, 2024
• Tip-Off: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Chicago Bulls (Seeking 1st Postseason Berth Since 2022)

December 2024

Sunshine State Rivalry Night

• The NBA club will face-off against its main rival from South Florida. 
• Date: Saturday, December 21, 2024

• Opponent: Miami Heat (Lost NBA Finals in 2020 & 2023)

Holiday Extravaganza

• The venue will include timeless Christmas tunes and even a visit from Santa.

• Opponent: Boston Celtics (Defending NBA Champions)

Jewish Heritage Day

• In correlation with this year’s Hanukkah, the afternoon will pay tribute to the traditions and cultures from the Jewish holiday.

• Opponent: Brooklyn Nets (Relocated from New Jersey in 2012)

January 2025

First Responders Event

• The evening will be dedicated to the local firefighters and police officers from Central Florida. 
• Date: Sunday, January 5, 2025
• Tip-Off: 6:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Utah Jazz (Hosted 2023 All-Star Game)

Brazil Festivities Game

• The arena will showcase Brazilian music & in-game entertainment. 
• Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025

• Opponent: Portland Trail Blazers (Last Played in West Finals in 2019)

India Spectacular

• The men in blue will recognize the cultural impacts from India.

February 2025

Black History Celebration

• The NBA club will acknowledge the historic achievements from African American players and coaches in professional basketball.

• Opponent: Atlanta Hawks (Southeast Division Match-Up)

Magic on the Yard

• New from the Magic, this promo honors the historic black colleges from Sunshine State. 
• Date: Monday, February 21, 2025

• Opponent: Memphis Grizzlies (Missed Playoffs for 1st Time Since 2020)

Faith & Family Night

• Kia Center plans to welcome local families and church groups from Orlando.

March 2025

STEM Education Day

• The main concourse will provide scientific and math displays for students to experience.

International Women’s Event

• The Magic will pay homage to the famous women who made an impact in our country.

Pride Acceptance Game

• This promotion celebrates diversity for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Magic of Inclusion

• The basketball game will be a welcoming event for all fans in attendance.

Noche Latina in Orlando

• The stadium will consist of Hispanic food offerings and live music.

Fan Appreciation Celebration
