How Has Team USA Fared in World Cup History?

First of all, the 2022 World Cup will take place in Qatar from Sunday, November 20 until Sunday, December 18. Qatar becomes the first Middle East country to host the international football series. Also, the 2022 World Cup is taking place this winter instead of past summer due to the nation’s very hot June/July months. Now for men’s soccer, Team USA will be looking for their first World Cup victory in program history.

In fact, the U.S. club has not finished 8th or better in the final results since the 2002 FIFA event in Japan/Korea. Also to keep in mind is that the program was unable to play in the 2018 World Cup after failing to qualify. The squad will be guided by American Head Coach Gregg Berhalter. Team USA currently has three scheduled Group B events for Qatar:
