List of New York Islanders 2024-2025 Promo Nights

Are you Going to a Islanders Hockey Game This Season? Looking for a Themed Event to Attend or a Giveaway to Take Home?

Now that the upcoming NHL season has finally arrived, you might think, “Will the Islanders do fan giveaways and promotional nights this season?” Well, you’re in luck! For the upcoming 2024-2025 campaign, the New York Islanders will return to the ice with theme days and fun promos for all ticket holders. In addition, the boys from D.C. have theme nights and stadium giveaways in store this fall: Opening Night Scarf, the debuting Youth Hockey Day, Star Wars™ Takeover, Camouflage Hat, and many more. 

Make sure to buy tickets at UBS Arena before it’s too late! Some of the team’s biggest contests, like the Rangers and Devils, sell out very fast. Catch the Islanders as they try to win an NHL championship for the first time since 1983. October 2024

Opening Night Scarf Giveaway

• First game of the season at UBS Arena. 
• All ticket holders at the game will be given an Isles Home Opener Scarf. 
• Date: Thursday, October 10, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Utah hockey Club (Formerly the Arizona Coyotes)

Class of 2025 Night

• The Class of 2025 T-Shirt is only available for the first 250 fans who purchased a special theme deal. 
• Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Florida Panthers (Defending Stanley Cup Champions)

Italian Heritage Event

• New York will showcase the traditions and cuisines from Italy. 
• The first 300 ticket holders who bought a group package will get the Italian Apron. 
• Date: Tuesday, October 29, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Anaheim Ducks (Seeking 1st Postseason Since 2018)

November 2024

Military Appreciation/Camo Hat Giveaway

• The franchise will acknowledge local soldiers and veterans from the Empire State. 
• The Islanders Camouflage Hat is awarded to the first 10,000 fans upon entry. 
• Also, the first 300 ticket holders who purchased a special theme deal will obtain a Mile Run Club Hat. 
• Date: Saturday, November 9, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: New Jersey Devils (Metropolitan Division Showdown)

Hockey Fights Cancer Day

• The players plan to wear purple jerseys during pre-game warm-ups to spread awareness for battling cancer. 
• An Isles Scout Patch is only for the first 400 fans who bought a group package. 
• Date: Saturday, November 23, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: St. Louis Blues (Hired Drew Bannister as Head Coach)

Thanksgiving Eve in Belmont

• The stadium will host a home contest the day before Turkey Day arrives.  
• Date: Wednesday, November 27, 2024

• Opponent: Boston Bruins (Lost Semifinals vs. Florida)

December 2024

Educators Appreciation Game

• The NHL club will welcome local professors and teachers from the Big Apple. 
• The first 300 ticket holders who purchased a special theme deal will earn an Islanders Tumbler Cup. 
• Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Chicago Blackhawks (Connor Bedard Won Rookie of the Year)

Holiday Extravaganza

• The main concourse will be filled with Christmas music and even an appearance from Santa. 
• The Jewish Heritage Winter Hat is accessible for the first 600 fans who bought a group package. 
• Date: Monday, December 23, 2024
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Buffalo Sabres (Longest Active Playoff Drought-2011)

January 2025

Pride Night in New York

• The evening will be an inclusive experience for all fans in attendance. 
• The first 500 ticket holders who purchased a special theme deal will receive a Rainbow Belt Bag.

Star Wars™ Takeover

• UBS Arena will include space adventure music and character meet-and-greets.

February 2025

First Responders Event

• The team will pay homage to local firefighters and police officers from the NYC area. 
• In addition, the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Beanie is given to the first 300 ticket holders who bought a group package. 
• Date: Tuesday, February 4, 2025
• Puck-Drop: 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
• Opponent: Vegas Golden Knights (Won 2023 Stanley Cup)

Healthcare Appreciation Day

• The stadium will honor local doctors and nurses from the Empire State.  
• The first 200 fans who purchased a special theme deal will gain access to the Isles Water Bottle. 
• Date: Sunday, February 23, 2025

Black History Celebration

• The NHL club will showcase the historic achievements from African American players and coaches in the hockey industry.

March 2025

Next Gen Day

• Sparky will provide all the fun and games with his mascot friends.

Go Green with the Isles

• The venue will present the significance of recycling and preserving natural resources.

Youth Hockey Dedication

• This new promotion will recognize the growing trend of youth hockey not only in New York, but also in the United States.
