Luke Hughes Bobblehead Giveaway, K-Pop Night, Devils Down the Shore & Mascot Night Light Day Part of Devils Promo Nights 2026-2027!
Welcome to the New Jersey Devils 2026-2027 theme nights reveal! The boys from Newark have accomplished their first consecutive winning seasons since 2011-2014. In fact, New Jersey is seeking its third playoff appearance since the 2020s decades began. Most importantly, the team wants to play in the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals run. With a month and a half before the puck drops on opening night, the New Jersey Devils officially announced their promotional schedule for the 2026-2027 season.
Prudential Center plans to include 19 theme nights and seven giveaways throughout the upcoming year. The Devils will begin the regular season in October with the Home Opener (Oct. 1), LED Sticks Freebie (Oct. 1), and K-Pop Night (Oct. 22). For November, the stadium is going to host the following events: Military Appreciation (Nov. 5), Devils Military Cap Giveaway (Nov. 5), Newark Celebration (Nov. 18), Thanksgiving Butter Bench (Nov. 23), and Black Friday (Nov. 27). Next, December will be packed with promo dates ranging from the Jewish Heritage (Dec. 1) to the Devils Youth Foundation Night (Dec. 9) and Devils Down the Shore (Dec. 17).
The second half of the promotional schedule will commence in January with Hockey Fights Cancer (Jan. 9), HFC Placecard Giveaway (Jan. 9), and Pride Day (Jan. 19). For February, the NHL club is going to highlight the Youth Hockey Showcase (Feb. 20), Arseny Gritsyuk Figurine Bag Tag (Feb. 20), and Black History Celebration (Feb. 23). In March, New Jersey will take part in the Mascot Madness (Mar. 5) along with the NJ Devil Night Light (Mar. 5) and Hecho en Jersey (Mar. 29). Last but not least, the Devils will wrap up the promo schedule in April with Jerseys Off Our Backs (Apr. 10) and Jack Hughes Bobblehead (Apr. 10).

October 2026
Home Opener/Giveaway
- The Prudential Center is going to host the Red Carpet Arrivals at 4:00 P.M. EDT (Championship Plaza) as well as a Pregame Fan Fest. The latter event includes appearances from New Jersey’s Alumni, Meet & Greet with NJ Devil, and live music.
- All Fans in attendance will receive the Devils “Home Opener” LED Sticks.

K-Pop Night
- The evening will consist of Korean Pop music in addition to exhibits in the main concourse.

November 2026
Military Appreciation/Giveaway
- The franchise plans to recognize the local veterans and soldiers from the Garden State.
- The first 9,000 fans entering the gates will receive the Devils Military Cap.

- Opponent: St. Louis Blues
Newark Celebration
- This theme focuses on the stories that make the city so special in the community.
- Date: Wednesday, November 18

Thanksgiving Week Kickoff
- The arena will host one last NHL game before Turkey Day arrives.
- The first 9,000 fans in attendance will receive the Devils Butter Bench.

Black Friday Matinee
- As part of the post-Thanksgiving showdown, New Jersey will face-off against a Canadian opponent.

December 2026
Jewish Heritage Day
- Just in time for Hanukkah, the Prudential Center is going to showcase the live performances and cultural stories on game day.

Devils Youth Foundation Event
- The organization wants to host a special auction full of exclusive merchandise and autographed items. Proceeds will go towards the Devils Youth Foundation.

Devils Down the Shore
- This 3rd annual theme highlights the ambiance of the New Jersey Shore, ranging from beach-themed music to fan contests.

Home for the Holidays
- The team will feature Christmas music and even an appearance from the Santa NJ Devil.

- Just a couple days before the year comes to a close, New Jersey is going to close out the 2026 home schedule with a hockey game.

New Year’s Home Debut
- For the first time in 2027, the New Jersey Devils will get to play in front of their fans at the Prudential Center.

Hockey Fights Cancer/Giveaway
- Before the game, the Devils players plan to wear lavender warm-up jerseys as part of cancer awareness.

Pride Night
- The evening will be an inclusive hockey game for all fans to enjoy.

Youth Hockey Showcase/Giveaway
- The franchise wants to honor the local youth hockey teams from the Newark area.
- The first 9,000 fans in attendance will receive the Arseny Gritsyuk Figurine Bag Tag. Gritsyuk scored 13 goals and 18 assists (31 points) in his rookie campaign last season.

Black History Celebration
- As part of the league’s initiative, the Devils will get the chance to highlight the best hockey moments from African American players and coaches.

Mascot Madness/Giveaway
- For one night only, the NJ Devil is going to host a fun mascot party with his friends.

Hecho en Jersey
- The Prudential Center will provide Latin food offerings in the concession stands as well as live performances.

Fan Appreciation Night/Giveaway
- This regular season finale plans to host the “Jerseys Off Our Backs” to lucky fans
- The first 9,000 fans in attendance will receive the Luke Hughes Bobblehead. The Michigan Wolverines alumni scored 6 goals and 29 assists (35 points) last season.
- Date: Saturday, April 10
- Puck-Drop: 6:00 P.M. Eastern Time
