Icemen Promo Nights 2025-2026 Include Teddy Bear Toss, Paint the Ice Spectacular, Lizard Kings Weekend, Mascot Games & More!
Welcome to the Jacksonville Icemen 2025-2026 theme nights reveal! The ECHL farm team for the Buffalo Sabres has now made the playoffs for the 4th straight year, dating back to 2022. In addition, the organization is seeking its first Kelly Cup championship in franchise history. With about 2.0 months before the puck drops on opening night, the Jacksonville Icemen officially announced their promotional schedule for the 2025-2026 season.
Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena will include 23 theme nights as well as a couple jersey auctions throughout the upcoming year. The first half of the promo slate will feature the Home Opener (Nov. 7), Country Music Takeover (Nov. 15), Pucks & Paws (Nov. 22), Gobble & Wobble (Nov. 26), Teachers Appreciation (Nov. 29), Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 13), Home for the Holidays (Dec. 17), Margaritaville™ Luau (Dec. 26), Buffalo Sabres Night (Jan. 3), Cowabunga Day (Jan. 9), Lizard Kings Weekend (Jan. 23-24), and Star Wars™ Event (Jan. 31).
Meanwhile, the second half of the themes schedule has the likes of India Heritage Matinee (Feb. 1), Toy Story™ Tribute (Feb. 14), Salute to Service (Feb. 28 & Mar. 1), Teachers Appreciation (Mar. 13). Wizards Galore (Mar. 14), Kids in Charge (Mar. 15), and Pucks & Pups (Mar. 20). The Icemen will wrap up the regular season in with the popular Paint the Ice Spectacular (Apr. 2), White Out Cancer (Apr. 3), Hockey is for Everyone (Apr. 4), Mascot Games & Marvel™ Superheroes Day (Apr. 10), Guns N’ Hoses for First Responders (Apr. 10), and Fan Appreciation & Award Show (Apr. 11).
As for the game-worn jersey auctions, those will take place in support of the Military (Feb 28 & Mar. 1) and Cancer Awareness (Apr. 3). For complete information in terms of each game’s puck-drop times and opponents, please refer to the list below!

Home Opener Celebration
- Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena wants to host a special pregame ceremony introducing the players and coaches.

Country Music Takeover
- The evening will highlight some of the best country songs on game day.

- During intermission, the stadium is going to host a dog race on the ice-level.

Gobble Wobble Event

Affiliate Night in Florida
- The Jacksonville Icemen will spend the day honoring their ECHL partnership with the Buffalo Sabres.

- For one game only this season, the organization will rebrand with a new logo and uniform to pay homage to Jacksonville’s cow ranching history.

Lizard Kings Weekend-Part 1
