In fact, Beijing will be hosting the Olympics for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. Team Germany was originally going to be represented by NHL players, but the league withdrew from the Beijing Olympics due to rising cases among teams. The squad will be guided by Finnish former European Hockey Player Toni Soderholm and will play games at the Wukesong Sports Centre.
