Welcome to the Detroit Red Wings 2026-2027 theme nights reveal! The boys from Motor City are coming off their 3rd consecutive winning record dating back to 2023-2024. That being said, the Red Wings now own the league’s longest active postseason drought at 11 years. Most importantly, the club is looking for its first playoff series win since 2012-2013. With a month and a half before the puck drops on opening night, the Detroit Red Wings officially announced their promotional schedule for the 2026-2027 season. 

Little Caesar’s Arena plans to include 34 theme nights and six door giveaways throughout the upcoming year. Also to keep in mind is that the team is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 2002 Stanley Cup run with three bobbleheads: Sergei Fedorov (Oct. 4), Nicklas Lidstrom (Oct. 29), and Scotty Bowman (Nov. 18). The Red Wings will begin this season’s promo dates in September with the preseason Pickleball Mania (Sept. 24).

Then in October, the regular season arrives with the Home Opener (Oct. 2), Hispanic Heritage (Oct. 6), Pride Celebration (Oct. 9), and Hockey Fights Cancer (Oct. 15). For November, the stadium is going to host the following events: Military Appreciation (Nov. 5), Centennial Game (Nov. 18), and Thanksgiving Eve (Nov. 25). Next, December will be packed with theme nights ranging from the First Responders Appreciation (Dec. 1) to Home for the Holidays (Dec. 22) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31).

The second half of the promotional schedule will resume in January with the Grateful Dead Tribute (Jan. 9), Swedish Heritage (Jan. 17), and Moritz Seider Stein Giveaway (Jan. 23). For February, the team is going to celebrate Black History Month (Feb. 18) and Kids in Charge (Feb. 21). In March, Detroit will have the following in-arena events: St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 12), Women in Sports (Mar. 18), and Margaritaville™ Luau (Mar. 30). Finally, the Red Wings will wrap up the theme nights slate in April with Fan Appreciation Day (Apr. 9).

Pickleball Night

• This preseason matchup honors the growing trend of pickleball in the United States.
