List of Czechia Men’s Hockey Players-Beijing Olympics
When Do the Team Czechia Men’s Hockey Games Begin?
The 2022 Winter Olympics will take place in Beijing, China from Friday, February 4 until Sunday, February 20. Beijing becomes just the 4th Asian city to host the Olympic Games since the late 1990’s: Tokyo, Japan (2020), Pyeongchang, South Korea (2018), and Nagano, Japan (1998). In fact, Beijing will be hosting the Olympics for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. Now for men’s hockey, Team Czechia will be looking for their first medal since winning bronze in the 2006 Turin Olympics. They also won a gold medal in the 1998 Nagano Games.
Team Czechia was originally going to be represented by NHL players, but the league withdrew from the Beijing Olympics due to rising cases among teams. The squad will be guided by 1st-Time Head Coach Filip Pesan and will play games at the National Indoor Stadium in Beijing. Team Czech Republic currently has three scheduled preliminary events for Beijing:
