Peanuts® Character Meet & Greets, New Rivalries Uniform Debut & Fan Giveaways Part of Chicago Bears Game Themes 2026!
Welcome to the Bears’ official 2026 promotional schedule reveal! The franchise is coming off its first postseason berth since 2020. In fact, Chicago won its first NFC North Division title since the Matt Nagy era in 2018. Most importantly, the NFL club is aiming to return to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 2010. But before those postseason talks begin, Chicago has officially announced its 2026 game themes schedule that focuses on fan favorite events and in-game entertainment.
New themes this season include the Peanuts® Kids Takeover, Fan Giveaways, and New Rivalries Uniforms. Soldier Field will begin the 2026 promotional dates in August with Snoopy and Friends making their way to the Windy City (Aug. 15). The Bears will open the regular season home dates in September with the Alumni Homecoming (Sept. 20) and Latino Heritage Day (Sept. 28). Next, Chicago’s October themes will consist of Crucial Catch (Oct. 4), Real Bears Fans Wear Pink (Oct. 4), and Thursday Night Football (Oct. 22).
For November, the Bears plan to honor local veterans with Salute to Service (Nov. 8) and Women in Sports (Nov. 22). Then, the defending NFC North winners are going to host three December events: My Cause, My Cleats (Dec. 6), Rivalries Uniforms Debut (Dec. 25), and Inspire Change (Dec. 25). The Bears will play on Christmas Day for the first time since losing to the Packers at Lambeau Field in 2011. This will be the first time ever that Soldier Field gets to host an NFL contest on December 25. Finally, the NFL club will finish the regular season home slate with Fan Appreciation Day (Jan. 3).

August 2026
Peanuts Takeover® & Giveaway
- This preseason matchup includes character meet & greets from Charlie Brown & Snoopy as well as face paintings.
- All fans in attendance will receive a Bears & Peanuts® Friends Pennant while supplies last.
- Those who bought a special ticket package can get a Snoopy Bears Keychain.
- Children at the game can receive a Peanuts® 4-Button Bears Pack when purchasing a kids meal at select concession stands.

September 2026
Alumni Homecoming & Giveaway
- The home opener will introduce the official 2026 Chicago Bears roster and legends as part of a pregame ceremony.
- All ticket holders at Soldier Field will get the Bears Adjustable Caps while supplies last.
- Date: Sunday, September 20
- Kick-Off: 12:00 P.M. Central Time
- Opponent: Minnesota Vikings
Latino Heritage & Giveaway
- As part of Latin Heritage Month, the defending NFC North champions plan to feature special food offerings and live musical performances.
- All fans in attendance will receive the Wearable “Vamos Bears” Flags while supplies last.
- Date: Monday, September 28
- Kick-Off: 7:15 P.M. Central Time

October 2026
Crucial Catch & Giveaway
- Chicago wants to spread awareness for cancer battles by selling “Real Bears Fans Wear Pink” T-Shirts throughout Soldier Field, Proceeds will go towards a cancer research organization called Bears Care.
- All ticket holders at the game will get the Bears Crew-Length Socks while supplies last.
- Date: Sunday, October 4

Thursday Night Football & Giveaway
- The Chicago Bears are going to host a Thursday Night home game in October for the first time since 2022.

Rivalries Debut, Inspire Change & Giveaway
- This Christmas Day showdown will see the debut for the Chicago Bears’’ new Rivalries Uniforms.
