LV fired Mike Mayock as GM following the team’s Wild Card Playoff Loss vs. Cincinnati Bengals. Mayock’s dismissal is not the only story involving the Raiders over the past couple months.
Earlier in the season, Gruden resigned as head coach after three and a half seasons following their home loss vs. Chicago Bears on October 10. Raiders Associate Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator Rich Bisaccia became the team’s Interim Coach for the remainder of the season. Gruden compiled a 22-31 overall record with no playoff appearances. At the time of the stunning announcement, the Raiders were 3-2 for the season before finishing with 10-7.
