New Highmark Stadium’s Home Debut, Thanksgiving Showdown & Native American Heritage Part of Buffalo Bills Game Themes 2026!
Welcome to the Bills’ official 2026 promotional schedule reveal! The team will begin to play home games at Highmark Stadium after spending the previous 52 years at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Buffalo is coming off its seventh straight playoff appearance dating back to 2019, which is a franchise record. Most importantly, the NFL club wants to play in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993. But before those playoff talks begin, the Buffalo Bills have officially announced its 2026 game themes schedule that focuses on fan favorite events and in-game entertainment.
New themes this season include Highmark Stadium’s Inaugural Game, Updated Rivalries Uniforms, and the very first home contest on Thanksgiving. The Buffalo Bills will begin the 2026 season in August with two preseason games at Orchard Park on Aug. 15 (Carolina) and Aug. 27 (Pittsburgh). The team will then open the regular season home dates in September with the Highmark Stadium Debut (Sept. 17), Hispanic Heritage (Sept. 27), and Huddle for Hunger (Sept. 27).
Next, Buffalo’s only home contest for October will focus on the importance for cancer awareness via Crucial Catch (Oct. 4). For November, the Bills plan to showcase the following four events: Native American Heritage (Nov. 1), Salute to Service (Nov. 22), New Rivalries Uniforms (Nov. 22), and Thanksgiving Showdown (Nov. 26). December’s only home game is going to cover Home for the Holidays and Inspire Change (Dec. 19). Last but not least, the Bills will finish the regular season home slate by honoring the city’s Coach of the Year candidates and promoting Play 60 youth health (Jan. 10).

August 2026
Preseason #1
- The boys from Orchard Park will get to face-off against the reigning NFC South Division champions.

- This post-Halloween event honors the legacy of the Native Americans from Western New York.

- Highmark Stadium plans to acknowledge the sacrifice and dedication from the local soldiers and veterans.
