Blue Jackets Promo Nights 2025-2026 Include 25th Anniversary, Cam Atkinson’s Celebration, Sean Monahan Bobblehead, Grateful Dead & More! 

Welcome to the Columbus Blue Jackets 2025-2026 promo nights reveal! The franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season as it began play in 2000. Throughout the campaign, the Blue Jackets will showcase some of its top moments and players in the team’s history. With nearly two months before the puck drops on opening night, the Columbus Blue Jackets officially released their promotional schedule for the 2025-2026 season. 

The NHL club plans to provide 15 stadium giveaways and 9 special item ticket packages. Those fan giveaways will be the following: 2025-2026 Magnet Schedule (Oct. 13), Replica Helmet (Oct. 16), Player Card Set (Oct. 18, Nov. 15, Dec. 13, Jan. 24, Mar. 21), Kids Pillow Case (Oct. 29), Fleece Blanket (Nov. 13), Kids Sticker Sheet (Jan. 3), Camo Flag (Jan. 28), Lapel Pin (Mar. 3), Floppy Hat (Mar. 28), Sean Monahan Bobblehead (Apr. 12), and 2025-2026 Team Poster (Apr. 14). 

Also, Columbus wants to give fans an opportunity to purchase special ticket packages on co-branded jerseys relating to the Grateful Dead (Oct. 24), Star Wars™ (Nov. 1), Kids in Charge (Jan. 3), Superman™ (Jan. 15), Margaritaville™ (Jan. 22), Military Appreciation (Jan. 28), Pride Day (Mar. 3), and First Responders (Mar. 28). In fact, the stadium intends to honor good causes and other events such as Halloween Trick-or-Treat Stations (Oct. 29), Hockey Fights Cancer (Nov. 13), Holidays with Stinger the Santa (Dec. 18), New Year’s Eve Party (Dec. 31), Healthcare Appreciation (Jan. 3), Hockey for Her (Feb. 28), Women in Business (Mar. 7), St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17), Science of Hockey (Mar. 31), and 5th Line Celebration (Apr. 12). 

Most importantly, the franchise will have special events for its 25th anniversary by hosting an O.A.R. concert on October 3 and pregame autograph sessions from Dave King (first head coach) and four other alumni (Oct. 18). Then, on October 16, Cam Atkinson (2011-2021) will sign a one-day deal to officially retire as a Blue Jacket. He will be honored in a pregame ceremony before the Oct. 16 game vs. Colorado. October 2025

25th Anniversary Concert

• This one-of-a-kind experience will be performed by rock band and Columbus native O.A.R.
• Date: Friday, October 3

Home Opener/Stadium Giveaway

• Nationwide Arena plans to host a special pregame ceremony showcasing the CBJ players and coaches. 
• All fans in attendance will receive a 2025-2026 Blue Jackets Magnet Schedule. 
• Date: Monday, October 13
• Puck-Drop: 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time

Cam Atkinson Celebration/Giveaway

• The 2-Time All-Star, who played for Columbus from 2011 until 2021, will officially sign a one-day contract to retire as a Blue Jacket.
• Cam Atkinson will be honored by the team in a special pregame ceremony.
• All fans entering the gates will get a Blue Jackets Replica Helmet. 
• Date: Thursday, October 16

25th Anniversary Celebration-Part 1/Stadium Giveaway

• Dave King, the team’s first head coach (2000-2003), will be on hand for pregame autographs in the main concourse beginning at 6:00 P.M. EDT. Joining him in the session will be CBJ alumni such as RW Kevin Dineen (2000-2002), D Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre (2000-2004), G Ron Tugnutt (2000-2002), and D Rostislav Klesla (2000-2011).

• The evening will be filled with 60s rock music & entertainment.

Halloween Spooktacular/Fan Giveaway

• Nationwide Arena will consist of spooky music and trick-or-treating stations in the main concourse.
